How long should my hair be before a waxing appointment?
For the best results, hair should be approximately 0.5–1 cm long (about the length of a grain of rice). If the hair is too short, the wax may not grip it effectively.
How long will the results last?
Most clients enjoy smooth skin for around 3–6 weeks, depending on their hair growth cycle, treatment area, and individual factors.
Is waxing painful?
Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, but most clients find the discomfort is brief and becomes more manageable with regular waxing. I use high-quality Perron Rigot waxes and techniques designed to make the experience as comfortable as possible.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Please ensure the treatment area is clean and avoid applying heavy creams, oils, or fake tan before your appointment. Gentle exfoliation 24–48 hours beforehand can also help achieve better results.
What should I avoid after waxing?
For 24–48 hours after treatment, avoid hot baths, saunas, swimming pools, sunbeds, excessive exercise, and heavily fragranced products. This helps minimiseirritation and allows the skin to recover comfortably.
